Great piece - I really enjoyed it! I'm struck by the similarities between Barragan's Casa Mexicana and the style of current fraccionamientos in Mexico, though that's perhaps due to my untrained architectural eye...!

Thanks, Alexandra. I was surprised by the Barragan house in that old book, too, though because it is so different than his later work. It looks like it could have been built in Weimar Germany or some other part of Europe in the early 1930s!
